British-born Sarah Winkler’s work lies “at the boundaries of realism and abstraction, modernism and minimalism.” The imagery in the rich and varied landscapes, constructed through her layered approach, is inspired by mountainous Colorado surroundings and Western Deserts, but ultimately formed by her signature aesthetic.
