FROM THE CURRENT ISSUE A Bridge Over TimeIn Kolaj #15, Ric Kasini Kadour profiles New Orleans collage artist Michael Pajon, whose art also appears on the cover. “Pajon is not simply using the visual language of the paper fragments he includes in his collage, he is using their history...to weave a narrative about our place in the world and how we have come to understand it.” Pajon is also on the cover of the current issue. COLLAGE ON VIEW Fashion ItemsThrough 28 May 2016 at Augen Gallery in Portland, Oregon. It is all the same thing to her. These new collages come out of that idea and are what she calls “Fashion Items”. MORE |
